Reykjavik Arts Festival

The Reykjavík Arts Festival is held every year in May. It was held biennially from 1970 and annually from 2004 with the purpose of promoting Icelandic and international culture in all fields of art. The Festival is one of Northern Europe's the oldest and most respected arts festivals.

The Reykjavik Arts Festival takes place in the middle of May every year and lasts until the beginning of June. Festival guests will enjoy wide array of exhibitions, dance, concerts, theatre shows and opera performances – with a mixture of local and international artists.
