Located about 20 minutes walk from the city centre and about 10 minutes walk from Laugardalur, public park with its large outdoor recreation area, swimming pool, Botanical garden and more.

The hotel offers 252 rooms, 174 standard, 64 deluxe and 14 superior. All equipped with telephone and satellite TV. Many of the rooms offer scenic views but 27 of them have windows facing directly into the hotel corridor.

The restaurant “Salatbarinn” is located on the ground floor and is open for lunch all year round and for dinner during the summer.

The hotel is situated little bit away from the city area, although in a walking distance from the main tourist sites. Nearby is the main outdoor swimming pool in Reykjavik.
