This is a magnificent flight tour over the Tindfjallajökull and Eyjafjallajökull glaciers. Between the ice and snowfields we visit Hekla, the most famous of Iceland's volcanoes, which last erupted in 2000. Other places of interest en route include Thingvellir, site of the world's oldest parliament, the Gullfoss  golden waterfall, Thórsmörk Nature Reserve, the rhyolite peaks of Landmannalaugar and Geyser – one of the world's outstanding geothermal areas and the origin of the English word "geyser".
