Cottage Holiday

Núpar cottages are within an easy reach of Iceland's nature highlights and important Saga sites. In winter enjoy sunshine, snow, Northern Lights and walks in the area or simply stay inside watching a winter storm gathering across the fields. These comfortable self catering cottages are warm and cosy Nordic style, tastefully furnished and fully equipped to be a home away from home.

When arriving at Keflavik Airport your rental car awaits. Follow the main road towards Reykjavík and across Hellisheiði plateau to the greenhouse village Hveragerði. From there turn towards the sea (in direction to Þorlákshöfn) and you will find the cottages nesting about 3 km down the road. However to pick up the keys for your cottage drive 4 km further to the service centre at Hotel Hlíð.

Spend the next couple of days visiting the beautiful countryside with its multitude of nature wonders or enjoy a peaceful stay in the cottage with your family or friends. At the end of your stay, drive back to the airport where you will return the car.

Two sizes of cottages:
Bigger cottages (35 m²) have 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and another one with a bunk bed. Smaller cottages (22 m²) have 1 bedroom with a double bed.

Equipment:
The cottages have a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, stove and oven, coffee machine, cooking utensils, crockery and more. For entertainment there is TV, video recorder, radio and CD player. Each cottage has a shower/WC, hot tub on the porch and gas barbeque. A mutual playground for the children is located in the surroundings.
