DAY 1
Arrival and overnight in Reykjavik (transfer from international airport not included)

DAY 2
Drive via Hvalfjörður to the agricultural region of Borgarfjörður. Passing the magnificent Eldborg crater onwards to Snæfellsnes peninsula where the mysterious Snæfellsjökull glacier towers over its surroundings.

Optional: Snow scooter tour on Snæfelljökull glacier.

DAY 3
Explore the countless natural wonders of the Snæfellsnes peninsula. Visit Arnarstapi seacliffs with their varied birdlife and the rocky beach of Djúpalónssandur before driving along the north coast through bustling fishing villages.

Optional: Boat tour from Stykkishólmur.

DAY 4
Visit the historic site of Reykholt, Hraunfossar waterfall and Deildartunguhver, the most powerful hot spring in Europe. Then onwards to Þingvellir national park, site of the ancient Icelandic parliament (4WD needed for Kaldidalur valley). From Þingvellir drive to the famous Geysir hot-spring area and Gullfoss waterfall.

DAY 5
Discover the south shore, viewing the spectacular Skógafoss waterfall, Mýrdalsjökull glacier and the black beaches around Vík. Visit dyrhólaey* headland where thousands of puffins nest every summer*. Return to Reykjavík.

Optional: Snow scooter tour on Mýrdalsjökull glacier, kayak tour from Stokkseyri.

*Please note that Dyrholaey is closed during nesting season in spring, middle May til June 23rd

DAY 6
Drive to Reykjanes peninsula and visit the moon like surroundings of Lake Kleifarvatn and Krísuvík geothermal area with its bubbling mud pools. Visit Grindavík fishing village and the famous Blue Lagoon for a relaxing bath.

Optional: Bathing in the Blue Lagoon, massage in the waters of the Blue Lagoon.

DAY 7
Departure (transfer not included).
