Day 1

Arrival in Iceland, transfer from Keflavík airport, via the Blue Lagoon, for a bathing experience of a life time. Then onto our hotel, Icelandair Loftleidir ***. Evening at leisure.

Friday nights are filled with excitement, with Icelanders invading the streets of downtown Reykjavik, it's trendy restaurants, bars and discos, to exhaust all stress after a hard week's work.

Day 2

We meet our driver guide and have an expedition briefing, itinerary will be set for the day, GPS setting. Depart in a Super Truck. The focus is on experience in the nature, to be an explorer as well as a traveller.

Highlights might include some of the following, this is all dependent on the weather and road conditions:
- Reykjanes Peninsula, crossed by the Rift, boasting moon like landscapes, dented coastline, lava fields, volcanoes and craters.
- South Iceland and its black sand beaches, seeing the glaciers and some extraordinary waterfalls.
- The Thorsmork valley, it's glacial lagoon and canyon.

Day ends at Hotel Hekla. 3 course dinner will be served. The rural surroundings of the hotel provide ideal conditions on clear nights to observe the Northern Lights over our heads.

Day 3

Briefing before starting today's expedition.

Highlights: Gullfoss waterfall one of the most impressive in Iceland. Then it is the highly active geothermal area of Geyser, and its famous geyser, spouting up to 25 meters high every 5 minutes on average. We will stop for a buffet
lunch at Geyser restaurant. After lunch we head towards the mountains over Laugarvatn towards Lake Thingvellir and the National park. Then onto some mountain adventure, where we will cross rivers and snow fields.
Return to Reykjavik in the after-noon. Stay at Icelandair Hotel Loftleidir ***.
Evening at leisure.

Day 4

Return transfer to Keflavík airport with Flybus for your return flight.
